In My Blood - Black Stone Cherry

So, this song is a year old, but I just found it on Pandora.
The video and lyrics are perfect.

It is a anthem to anyone in service, and that which they left behind

"God bless my Soldier, and keep him safe for me, Whether in the air, on land or on the sea. God bless my Soldier, and bring him safely home, Guide my letters to him, so he won’t feel alone. God bless my Soldier when I’m not by his side; Please let him know I love him and let him feel my pride. And when he does come home, and the days get better; I’ll always thank you, God, for blessing my Soldier."

timeislove-hooah:

Send a heart attack! Write one thing you love about them on each heart. What a great way (and inexpensive) to lift your loved up while deployed!

Anonymous said: i just started dating my boyfriend about 2 weeks ago & i have fallen madly in love with him, hes stationed in WA. & im in CA. he comes home at the end of august & im sooo excited & nervous for himm to come home, do you have any advice for me about what its going to be like these next 2 years ?

let’s see, have you ever been in a long distance relationship? it’s not always easy. But when you see each other again you will fall in love every time, the “see you later” are the hardest but you will make it. its ok to cry as well they will be nights that you will feel like breaking down that’s fine don’t hold it in. you will have more Skype dates than real dates, some may be short than others but you will be happy even its for few seconds. They will be few people that will look down on your relationship, DONT let it get to you. Hope this helped in any kind way.
